Monthly Prayer Points

Here are the prayer requests that we at ASAP Ministries consider the most urgent this month. Please partner with us so that these needs can go up to heaven with a mighty surge of united prayer.

PRAYER POINTS FOR THE MONTH OF MAY 2024:

  • Board of Directors’ Meeting—Pray that God will grant wisdom to the Board of Directors when it meets on Sunday, May 5, to make some important decisions. Claim the promise of Proverbs 2:6, “For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.”

  • Financial Blessings for ASAP—Pray that every project in the budget and the new surprise needs that arise each year are all met in this fiscal year, which ends September 30. Claim Philippians 4:19, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”

  • Children on the Border of Thailand/Myanmar—Pray for safety and comfort for the students at ASAP schools who are unable to go home during their summer vacation (April to June) due to the civil war in Myanmar. If they left school, they would face many dangers, such as being forced to fight in the army, having to flee their homes, or worse, being blown up by landmines. Pray that God will provide ASAP with the $72,000 needed to feed all of them while they board at our schools over the summer. Claim Psalm 34:7, “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.”

  • Comfort for Families in Myanmar—Pray for comfort for many families connected to ASAP who are facing loss as their loved ones are fleeing to neighboring countries or worse, passing away in the war. Claim 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”

  • ASAP’s Prayer Ministry—Pray that God will grow ASAP’s prayer ministry with more prayer warriors like you to intercede for the great needs and advance the mission. Satan would love to hinder all of us from praying, so pray claiming the armor of God on all of us as we intercede (Ephesians 6:11-13). Pray for ASAP Prayer Coordinator, Gem Castor, and his assistant, Gabriel Bonds, as they travel around the U.S. and the world, share about ASAP’s mission and prayer ministry.
